The traditional texts tell us ‘Supreme consciousness’ is our human essence; when we experience this inner transformation, we can experience love for ourselves and patience for others on their journey.

Yoga is a practical science intended to help us become aware of our deepest intuitive nature. This goal requires the regular removal of negative emotions and Samskaras.

Samskaras are energy blocks that life’s traumas store in our cells and nervous system. When we don’t release them they become obstacles to the free flow of energy and emotion, which can lead to depression.

Holding and releasing Asanas cleanses the emotional body.
